- ferrite; Austenitic; Duplex stainless steel.
If a type of American Rego regulating valve is covered by ferrite test valve, its coverage can be extended to austenitic and dual-phase non induced steel, as long as the valve test with the same design of medium-sized materials can be carried out.
Other valve shell materials under pressure shall be tested for all representative nominal sizes according to the requirements of 2.5.2.7 (3) and 2.5.2.8 (4).

As for the sealing of valve seat and closing part, the sealing between valve seat and valve body, and the non-metallic materials of valve stem sealing and valve body connection, it needs to be verified again. However, filled polytetrafluoroethylene (rptfe) can prove that unfilled polytetrafluoroethylene (rptfe), and vice versa.
Before the pressure test of American Rego regulating valve, the test system shall be comprehensively inspected according to the design requirements and relevant technical specifications, and the valves, instruments and accessories that are not suitable to be tested with the pipeline shall be removed from the pipeline, and the temporary short pipe shall be installed and connected; All opening and changing in the pipeline shall be closed, and blind plates shall be added between the equipment that should not be tested together or the high (low) pressure system and the low (high) system, which shall be removed in time after pressure test.
The valve in the pressure test system shall be opened, and the vent valve shall be set at the highest point of the system; American Rego regulating valve is set at the lowest point.
The hydrostatic test of American Rego regulating valve should not be carried out at an ambient temperature lower than 5 ℃, otherwise corresponding anti freezing measures should be taken or pneumatic test should be used. After the pressure test is qualified, the liquid in the system should be discharged immediately.
During the test, the pressure shall be increased slowly, and the conditions of all parts of the pressure test system shall be observed. If any problem is found, the pressure shall be reduced immediately for repair.
After the pressure test is qualified, the test and inspection records shall be filled in and signed by relevant personnel, which shall be archived as technical data.
